Morocco Tours: Your Questions Answered
Quick answers from our local team. Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp.
WhatsAppWhat is the best Morocco tour for a first visit?
For a first visit, a 5-day trip from Marrakech to the Sahara is the most popular choice: the High Atlas, Aït Ben Haddou, the Dades and Todra gorges and a night in a desert camp in Merzouga. With 10 to 12 days, a loop from Marrakech through the Sahara to Fes and Chefchaouen shows you the whole country.
How many days do I need for a Sahara desert tour from Marrakech?
Three days is the minimum to reach the big dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, with one night in the desert. We recommend 4 or 5 days so you can enjoy the journey and spend two nights in the dunes.
Can I book a private tour of Morocco?
Yes. Most of our trips are private, with your own driver and an itinerary designed around your dates, interests and budget. You can also join a small group on set dates.
Do you organize family and women-only tours?
Yes. Our family tours have short driving days, family rooms and activities children love. Our women-only tours are designed for solo female travelers, friends and women over 50.
Is Morocco safe for tourists?
Yes. Morocco welcomes millions of visitors every year. Traveling with a local team and a private driver makes the trip easy and relaxed, especially for families and women traveling alone.
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for most trips. The Sahara is best from October to April, the Atlantic coast and the mountains are pleasant in summer.
Where do your tours start?
Most tours start in Marrakech or Fes, but we can pick you up anywhere in Morocco, including Casablanca, Tangier, Agadir and Ouarzazate, usually at your hotel, riad or the airport.
How do I book a tour with Morocco Upcoming Tours?
